Chapter 1782
Tamper, tamper, tamper!
Larry is merciless. He savagely swung his palm at Fred’s face, slapping him dozens of times. Every swing is full of power. Every time Fred was hit he let out a loud scream of pain.
Harvey watched it all with narrowed eyes, saying nothing. He was curious.
Larry continued to slap Fred as he spoke. “It’s not a big deal when people come and cause trouble here.”
“The problem is that you are too useless! Not only do you let people act wild, you even let a group of unknown people enter here as they please! Do you think I will not be ashamed ?! ”
Naturally, Larry openly insulted others.
Jay could only say out loud, “You…”
Harvey waved his hand, motioning for Jay to be quiet. He wanted to see what else Larry could do.
“And how many times have I told you?!
Stay away from that woman if possible!”
“She’s just a vixen who sleeps with lots of people! He can show off when he meets ordinary people, but what can he do when he meets really strong characters?”
“You asked him to support you? Have you gone mad?”
Larry seems to want Fred to live up to his expectations.
Fred understood Larry’s words. He hastily lowered himself respectfully.
“Rest assured, Mr. Chambers. This won’t happen again!”
Fred glared at Faye, who was kneeling beside him.
‘This woman is usually full of tricks, but in the end she’s all talk. He’s useless!”
‘So what if he brought so many guards here?’
‘He knelt down himself! What can those bodyguards do after that?!’
Despite Larry’s insult, Faye’s expression remained neutral.
He had no intention of warning Larry.
He had learned his lesson after trying to wrangle someone much stronger than him and certainly wouldn’t mind seeing the same thing happen to Larry Chambers.
Larry ignored Faye and glanced curiously at Harvey. He then looked at Jay and the others.
Larry just wanted to trample Harvey to death.
But he remembered that Faye had knelt to this man without a moment’s hesitation and that Jay had dared to flout studio rules before proceeding to arrest his men.
All of this is enough to prove that Harvey has sufficient background or ability.
Now that Larry had a brief grasp of the situation at hand, he lit a cigar and took a puff.
“Young man, exactly which family do you come from?
Do your parents know that you caused a huge commotion here?”
Harvey was undaunted. “Stop your nonsense, Mr. Chambers. There’s no point in talking big at this point.
“I need an explanation about what happened to Xynthia Zimmer.”
Fred and the others wanted to scream angrily, but Larry quickly stopped them.
Larry had someone bring him a chair. He sat across from Harvey smoking his cigar.
“How should I explain, I wonder?”
Harvey stated his condition, his face as emotionless as ever.
“Number one, Fred Miller and Seth Keaton will kneel down and apologize to Xynthia until she is satisfied.”
“Number two, you will pay fifteen million dollars in mental damage fees.”
“And number three, I want you to find the true cause of the accident!”
Harvey spoke in a calm tone as if he was just talking about something as general as the weather.
“If you can do all that, then I will let you off the hook.”
“And if you can’t, I’ll make sure you pay dearly for everything.”
Larry’s cigar in his hand shook slightly. He took another puff, then blew the smoke right into Harvey’s face. He smiled, not bothering to give a straight answer.
“Young man, I already know everything that happened here.”
“But are things as bad as you say?”
