With a sharp clanging sound, the shield shook violently, but remained intact.
“With such minimal abilities, you dare to rob people on the street?”
David snorted coldly, and the Dragon Slayer Sword shot out like a beam of light, directly piercing the shoulder of the wolf-headed strong man.
“Aww—”
The burly, wolf-headed man screamed, clutching his bleeding shoulder and staggering backwards, his eyes filled with terror. “You who are you?”
“Students passing by,” David said calmly, “If you don’t want to die, get out of the way!”
The burly, wolf-headed man looked at his subordinates who were groaning in pain on the ground, then looked at the Dragon Slayer Sword emitting a sharp aura in David’s hand. Realizing that he was no match for David, he hurriedly led his men away in a miserable state.
“These devil cultivators are too weak to fight.”
Hu Mazi watched the wolf-headed man’s retreating figure and said with some surprise.
“They are just small fish; the real masters should be in the Black Wind Fort.”
David sheathed the Dragon Slayer Sword. “Let’s continue, but be careful.”
The two continued traveling deeper into the misty forest. After walking for about the time it takes an incense stick to burn, the fog in front of them slowly thinned, and a huge mountain fortress appeared before them.
The walls of the fortress were built of huge black stones, with black flags flying on them, each flag bearing the head of a ferocious wolf.
