Chapter 101
On the side, Senior Zimmer controlled his smile. “Manager Sorrell, I can guarantee on behalf of the Zimmer family that all of our resources will go to both of you if you marry into our family. That set of diamonds is nothing when all the property of the Zimmer family will be yours. Why are you making a fuss about it now?”
Senior Zimmer is straightforward with his thoughts. He was ready to give the young couple the entire Zimmer family. She needn’t be mad over such a small matter, and especially during such a pivotal time as when Zack Zimmer proposed.
“That’s right, Brother-in-law. It really was a trifling matter! You’re just going to punish Zack for no good reason!”
“Yes! Let’s not talk about this diamond ring that is worth hundreds of thousands. Just look at that trash, Harvey York. He couldn’t even afford a diamond ring of a few hundred dollars. You are very lucky to have won support Bro Zack!”
“Yes! Of course!”
The Zimmers try to persuade him.
Zack poured more emotion into his act. “Wendy, I can guarantee you that I will buy those pigeon eggs for you. Please marry me.”
Wendy Sorrell’s face squeezed with awkwardness. He only came to his senses after a while and was barely speechless. “Zack Zimmer, are you sick?”
“What?” Zack was left stunned. “My body is very healthy. I have the medical reports to prove it.”
“I’m asking if you are mentally ill!” Wendy’s forehead which was originally shiny had turned dark. He almost bit his teeth as he accented every word he said. “You proposed to me? Have you gone mad?”
Zack’s whole body shuddered at his words. He forced out a laugh. “Wendy, don’t be angry now. It’s just diamonds, right? It’s no big deal…”
“It’s not about diamonds!”Wendy was about to vomit blood. He then pointed at Zack and said, I asked why you proposed to me? Are you really crazy? Is your brain flooded with water? We haven’t seen each other for over an hour and you proposed to me already? Do you have pig brains?”
“Didn’t you accept my gift?” Zack asked curiously, “isn’t that how it works? If you accept my gift, you agree with chasing you?”
“Who said I had received your gift? You are looking for some express delivery to throw them to the NY office and claim that I have received them? Zack! Just wait here!” Wendy’s embarrassment turned to rage as she stormed out of the villa in her high heels.
Immediately, he came back while dragging a large sack and aggressively throwing it forward. The sack was open and shoes, bags and jewelry were scattered all over the ground from inside the bag.
“I came today to return all this trash to you!”Wendy said through gritted teeth. “Zack, do you really look down on me that much? Do you think that you can just give some broken toys to agirl and call it chase? P’m telling you, with your ugly attitude, every shoe you give me is dirt!”
“Xavier’s secretary, let’s go!” Wendy looked at Yvonne after saying this. Yvonne nodded and the two of them walked out of the hall.
Yvonne smiled slightly and nodded at Harvey without saying a word, before turning towards Senior Zimmer. “Senior Zimmer, we have returned the items. We have a few things to attend to and will move now.”
“Ah…” Senior Zimmer’s eyes twitched. “Xavier’s secretary, what about the contract?”
Yvonne turned around and showed a sweet smile. “Didn’t we say that we were only here to discuss personal matters today and would not be discussing business?”
“Yes, yes, yes…” Senior Zimmer subtly wiped off the cold sweat. He didn’t know how to fill the awkward silence they had. He then ordered in a low voice, “Zack, please send them out…”
After he said this, he quickly went around shaking hands with people. “How embarrassing for you to see this. The young couple had an argument over diamonds. Don’t overthink this, It’s only a short fight. They would soon restore their peace. Not a big problem.”
Many people around him nodded slightly. That’s the only logic, that they’re in an argument. Else, why is Zack so ridiculous as to casually ask the question?
“Xavier’s secretary!” Zack jumped forward from a half-kneeling position and shamelessly walked beside Yvonne. “Wendy doesn’t know how to tell the difference between what is good and what is bad. How about we eat together tomorrow and have a good chat? Of course, all these things are yours.”
Zack said everyone proudly. The luxury items he bought were not cheap. They are worth tens of thousands.
Yvonne was taken aback. He was left completely stunned. He didn’t think that Zack would dare to come and invite him out instead.

He instinctively threw a slap.
“You’re crazy! Hmph!”
Yvonne said this as she walked out of the Villa. Soon, the car engine sounded, and the two beauties left.
