A Man Like None Other Chapter 6788 Breaking Into the Island Lord’s Mansion
Please read this chapter.
- David arrives at Pulau Bibo under the cover of night.
- He takes time to recover his strength before proceeding.
- A significant change in David’s aura is noticed upon his arrival.
The night sky above the Void Sea was like a ribbon of dark blue silk stretching across the boundless ocean.
Silvery moonlight penetrated the clouds and splashed on the gently undulating waves, breaking up into thousands of tiny light spots that flickered and shone along with the water ripples, as if the entire sea was breathing silently.
On the distant horizon, the silhouette of Bibo Island resembled a sleeping giant, lying peacefully in the sea. The lights on the island flickered sporadically at night, like giant eyes that occasionally opened.
David’s figure emerged from the depths of the sea, his gray robe soaked and clinging tightly to his body.
He stepped onto the rock, and chaotic power circulated within his body, evaporating the moisture from his robes.
His gaze swept across the island before him, his purple eyes gleaming with a calm yet firm light.
He stood on the coral reef for a moment, feeling the cool night breeze on his face, then his figure flickered and turned into a gray beam of light, silently gliding over the sea and landing on an uninhabited coral reef at the edge of the island.
He did not rush into the city, but instead sat cross-legged on a rock and closed his eyes to regulate his breathing for about the time it takes an incense stick to burn.
He circulated the chaotic power and water power within his body for several cycles, ensuring that he had recovered to his best condition, before getting up and rushing towards the inn.
The inn still stood quietly at the end of the secluded passage.
When David entered the room through the back window, his movements were as light as leaves falling on water.
There were no lights in the room, only moonlight came in from the window, forming a thin silver-white trail on the floor.
Jiang Xuelan sat cross-legged on the edge of the bed, her cold blue eyes shining like two cold lights in the darkness. He opened his eyes as David came in through the window.
His gaze swept over David quickly, and he breathed a sigh of relief only after confirming that he was not injured.
However, when his divine sense detected an aura on David that was several times stronger than when he left, his icy blue eyes suddenly lit up.
“Your aura has changed.”
Jiang Xuelan stood up, walked quickly to him, looked him up and down, and said in disbelief, “The streak of water power in your body has disappeared? You’ve broken through to the sixth rank of the Golden Immortal Realm?”
“It disappeared, but it didn’t actually disappear.”
David walked to the table and sat down, poured himself a glass of iced tea, then took a sip. “It has merged, it has merged with the power of chaos. Now that wisp of water power has completely become part of my power.”
