Golden-red flames shot out from its mouth, like a pillar of fire that condensed to its maximum limit, hitting the center of the swinging tail of the giant lizard.

As the pillar of fire collided with the giant tail, a circle of fiery golden red light appeared.

The giant lizard’s tail was scorched black by the burst of flames, its scales shattered and its flesh crushed. Its huge body was knocked to the side, staggering a few steps and carving two deep furrows in the ground.

The little fire unicorn didn’t give its opponent a chance to breathe. After landing, it jumped again, its body moving like dark red lightning, quickly surrounding the giant lizard. Each flash left a burning wound on the giant lizard’s body.

Its attacks were not heavy, but extremely fast and cunning, specifically targeting the gaps in the monitor lizard’s scales and weak points such as its jaw, eye sockets, and joints, like an experienced hunter patiently dismantling a sturdy fortress.

The lizard’s roars gradually changed from initial anger to howls mixed with fear.

Its size advantage was completely neutralized by absolute speed and agility, and every counterattack only hit empty air, while the small fire qilin’s attacks became increasingly frequent and merciless.

After several dozen breaths, the lizard was covered in scorched wounds, and dark purple blood flowed across the ground, forming a terrifying pool of mud. His movements became slower and slower, and the red ferocity in his eyes was finally replaced by deep fear.

The little fire unicorn stopped wandering and stood less than three zhang in front of the giant lizard’s head, its golden red eyes quietly observing its opponent, which was several times bigger than it.

It opened its mouth slightly, and golden red light shone from within its throat, growing brighter and more concentrated.

In the end, it turned into a pillar of fire, only as thick as an arm but so bright that it obscured vision, piercing right through the weakest gap in the giant lizard’s jaw scales, straight from its throat to the back of its head.

The giant lizard’s huge body suddenly stiffened, and the red light in its eyes extinguished suddenly like a candle flickering in the wind.

Its limbs twitched violently several times before finally collapsing to the ground with a dull, ear-splitting thud. Dark purple blood spurted from his mouth and nose, and he was lifeless.

The little fire unicorn stood still, breathing slowly, but its golden-red eyes sparkled with unconcealed joy and satisfaction.

He walked up to the giant lizard’s head, lowered his head, and deftly used the tip of his horn to split open the hardest part of the lizard’s skull. From it, he took out a dark golden beast core the size of a fist with dense and abundant core energy, then swallowed it in one gulp.

Then it lowered its head and bit into the giant lizard’s body, using the golden red flames overflowing from its mouth to wrap, melt, and refine the entire huge corpse layer by layer.

All the pure essence of flesh and blood, nuclear power source, and spiritual marrow refined from the skeleton, were all devoured by him in an instant.

When the dark golden flames completely extinguished, the lizard’s giant body disappeared without a trace, leaving only a circle of scorched marks on the ground.

The little fire qilin’s body seemed larger than before, and its dark red scales had a deeper and richer luster, with subtle golden red patterns faintly appearing between the scales.

He snorted in satisfaction, then jogged back to David’s side with light steps, lowered his head and gently rubbed his head against David’s knee.

A satisfied groan escaped his throat, like a child who had just eaten and accomplished something, waiting for praise.

David looked at him and gently patted between the rough and warm horns on his head: “Very good.”

The little fire qilin raised its head, its bright golden red eyes glanced at him. It let out a short, proud growl, then swayed slightly and turned into a dark red beam of light, disappearing back into David’s storage ring.

The surface of the ring warmed slightly for a moment before returning to calm. There was a faint movement from inside, as if he had found a comfortable position and was preparing to digest the delicious meal he had just enjoyed.

Jiang Xuelan walked over from a distance, glanced at the scorched marks on the ground, then looked at the storage ring in David’s hand which had returned to calm, and smiled faintly: “This little fellow you raised is much fiercer than before. I am no match for him now.”

“It’s been locked in the storage room for too long, and today it can’t stand it anymore.”

David withdrew his hand, his gaze sweeping across the now empty domain. “When this horse grows a little bigger, I won’t let it stay in the storage ring anymore. From now on I will ride it every day.”

“Riding a spiritual beast every day is really cool…” Jiang Xuelan said.

“I’m not looking for anything flashy. I just want the two of us to ride little fire unicorns and have fun in the car once in a while,” David said with a laugh.

“What is sex in a car?” Jiang Xuelan asked, completely confused.

He was a celestial cultivator who had never lived in the mortal world, so naturally he didn’t know what “sex in a car” was.

“You’ll find out later.” David smiled slyly, then jumped up and headed to the next domain.
