Yun Yan took out a jade talisman and inscribed the route of the hidden void rift, as well as the dangerous areas and the distribution of strange beasts inside the Shattered Star Void Belt, into the jade talisman, and handed it to David.

The two chatted for a long time, and Yun Yan told David many secrets about the various forces in the Southern Region, as well as some of the habits of the Xuanxu Old Monster.

The Old Monster of Xuanxu is eccentric and dislikes being disturbed. If someone were to come knocking on his door, he would likely drive them away or even attack them.

When the two parted, they agreed that if David ever planned to deal with the Canglan Sect, the Yun family would secretly assist him and provide intelligence.

As evening approached, Su Qingyuan, Jiang Xuelan, and Ling Xiyue returned to their private seats at the restaurant one after another.

Each of them summarized the intelligence they had gathered, and the information they had gathered basically matched the information Yun Yan had provided.

“The Shattered Star Void Belt has its entrance sealed by the Canglan Sect, and the Xuanxu Old Monster is very likely inside.”

David took out the jade talisman, placed it on the table, and said to the three women with a smile, “Yun Yan gave us a secret path that can bypass the main force of the Canglan Sect’s blockade. Let’s rest for two days, make preparations, and then set off to infiltrate the Shattered Star Void Zone to find the Xuanxu Old Monster.”

The Canglan Sect should not be underestimated either; with its Immortal King Ancestor stationed in the Southern Region, they must not be taken lightly.

“What’s there to be afraid of? With the four of us joining forces, plus my Chaos Origin, we can hold our own even against a Celestial King.”

David smiled and reached out to put his arm around Su Qingyuan’s waist, then reached out to pull Ling Xiyue along. “Let’s spend the next couple of days exploring Luoyun City, buying some supplies, and seeing the local customs and culture. And while we’re at it, let’s get some rest.”

For the next two days, the four of them strolled around Luoyun City.

David led the three women through the city’s markets, buying many magical artifacts and elixirs to deal with the void storms and resist the void beasts, and witnessing the unique treasures of the Twenty-Eight Heavens.

In his spare time, he would still stay in the villa where he had settled down, accompanied by the three women, and continue to hone their Dao foundation.

Su Qingyuan has now completely opened up and is no longer as reserved as she was at the beginning. The four of them get along well and live a leisurely life.

During this time, people from the Canglan Sect came to the courtyard several times to secretly spy on and monitor the four people. They were wary of Luoyun City and dared not take direct action. They simply kept watch and waited for the four people to set up an ambush in the void, so they could seize the treasure.

David had long noticed these sentries, but he pretended not to, secretly planning that once he entered the void rift, if the Canglan Sect dared to chase after him, he would wipe them out in one fell swoop.

Two days later, everything was ready.

In the dead of night, the moonlight enveloped Luoyun City. The four quietly left the courtyard, avoiding the Canglan Sect’s sentries, and followed the directions recorded on the jade talisman to a broken valley outside Luoyun City.

Deep within the valley lies the entrance to that hidden void rift.

Standing at the end of the valley, the space before me was slightly distorted, and a narrow, dark spatial rift was quietly suspended, with violent and weak void turbulence constantly overflowing from the rift.

“This is it.”

David turned to the three women and grinned, “Hold on tight, follow me. We’re going into the Shattered Star Void Zone to find the Xuanxu Old Monster. If the Canglan Sect dares to chase after us, we’ll have a good time with them.”

Su Qingyuan, Jiang Xuelan, and Ling Xiyue all nodded and stood beside David.

David activated the Chaos Origin, spreading out a thick protective shield to envelop the four of them, and stepped into the dark rift.

Within the rift, space continued to distort, with tiny, fragmented void blades flying everywhere, and small void beasts occasionally darting out of the darkness to launch sneak attacks.

David walked at the front, holding the Dragon Slayer Sword in his hand. He would casually kill any strange beasts he encountered with a single stroke. The little fire unicorn was also released and wandered around.

The Qilin True Fire scorched the lurking void creatures, protecting the three women as they steadily moved forward.

The hidden passage was longer than expected, and they were constantly attacked by strange beasts along the way.

Several waves of strange beasts attacked, and Jiang Xuelan and Ling Xiyue took action to meet them. They unleashed the full power of a seventh or eighth-grade Immortal Lord, their sword light and spells intertwining to slay the beasts.

Su Qingyuan stayed behind, constantly monitoring the surrounding void for any unusual movements and guarding against the Canglan Sect’s pursuers. Occasionally, she would strike, unleashing a barrage of divine light to wipe out large numbers of strange beasts.
