Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation chapter 111

An illustration of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji for a blog post review of The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation novel.
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, the two iconic main characters from the novel.

The sun hadn’t risen yet. The streets were still deserted. Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi walked together, hearing only the soft tapping of the donkey’s hooves on the ground.

Sitting on the donkey’s back, Wei WuXian patted its butt a few times. The pouch at his waist was full and firm, filled with apples that were probably snacks from the Lan Sect juniors.

Wei WuXian took out an apple from inside and placed it near his mouth. Staring at Lan WangJi’s handsome face from the side, he chewed it quite loudly. Seeing his apple being so shamelessly stolen, Little Apple was so angry that his nose flared and his nails stomped. Wei WuXian didn’t have time to pay attention to him, slapping him a few more times while stuffing the unfinished apple into his mouth, “Lan Zhan, did you know? That SiSi seems to be Jin GuangYao’s mother’s friend.”

Lan WangJi, “I didn’t do it.”

Wei WuXian didn’t know whether to laugh or not, “I was just commenting, not that I was actually asking you. I saw him at Guanyin Temple, in Empathy with that ghost woman. He took care of Jin GuangYao and his mother quite well.”

After a moment of silence, Lan WangJi replied, “So, Jin GuangYao let that woman go.”

Wei WuXian, “That should be it. I was afraid that ZeWu-Jun would go easy on him again, so I didn’t tell him everything. Even now, I’m still unsure whether we should tell him.”

Lan WangJi, “If he asks again later, I will tell him.”

Wei WuXian, “Baiklah.”

He turned and glanced back, sighing softly, “I don’t want to bother with those disgusting things anymore. Enough is enough.”

Lan WangJi nodded and tightened Lil’ Apple’s reins. He continued walking while holding her.

Each of them could only face their own problems. Even though Lan XiChen was his blood brother, Lan WangJi couldn’t do anything to help him at this moment. Comforting him was pointless. It would all be in vain.

After a pause, Lan WangJi spoke, “Wei Ying.”

Wei WuXian, “Apa?”

Lan WangJi, “There is something I have never told you.”

Wei WuXian somehow felt his heart pounding, “What’s wrong?”

Lan WangJi stopped and glared at him. Just as he was about to speak, a series of hurried footsteps sounded from behind them. Wei WuXian, “Oh my, someone’s caught up with us?”

There was indeed someone following, but the results were much better than expected. Lan SiZhui ran over, panting, “H-HanGuang-Jun, Senior Wei!”

Wei WuXian rested his arm on the donkey’s head, “SiZhui-er, I eloped with HanGuang-Jun. Why are you here? Aren’t you afraid that Old Master Lan will scold you?”

Lan SiZhui blushed, “Senior Wei, don’t be like this. I came to ask you a very important question!”

Wei WuXian, “What’s wrong?”

Lan SiZhui, “I remembered some things that I couldn’t confirm, so… I came to ask HanGuang-Jun and Senior Wei.”

Lan WangJi glanced at him before looking at Wen Ning. Wen Ning nodded. Wei WuXian, “What?”

Lan SiZhui puffed out his chest and took a deep breath. He began, “He claims to have extraordinary cooking skills, but the food he makes is spicy to the eyes and stomach.”

Wei WuXian, “Hah???”

Lan SiZhui added, “Bury me in a carrot field, they say I will grow tall quickly with water and sunlight, and maybe some more children will grow up and play with me.”

Wei WuXian, “…

Lan SiZhui continued, “Promised to treat HanGuang-Jun to a meal, but ran away before paying, leaving HanGuang-Jun to pay again.”

Wei WuXian widened his eyes. He could barely stand upright on the donkey’s back. He stammered, “You… You…”

Lan SiZhui’s eyes were fixed on Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi, “Perhaps because I was too young, I can’t remember most of the things from back then. But, I’m sure… my surname used to be Wen.”

Wei WuXian’s voice trembled, “Your surname is Wen? Isn’t it Lan? Lan SiZhui, Lan Yuan…” He mumbled, “Lan Yuan… Wen Yuan?”

Lan SiZhui nodded heavily. His voice was trembling, “Senior Wei, I… I’m A-Yuan…”

Wei WuXian didn’t fully understand what was happening, still confused, “A-Yuan… Isn’t he dead? He was left alone at Burial Mound back then…”

Before he could finish, Lan XiChen’s words rang in his ears, “He said those years were a time for him to reflect on his mistakes, but in reality, he was bedridden. Even so, when he knew you were gone, he still dragged such a corpse to the Burial Mound to see you one more time, no matter what…”

He turned to look at Lan WangJi, “Lan Zhan, is that you?!”

Lan WangJi, “Yes.” He looked at Wei WuXian, “That’s what I never told you.”

For a long time, Wei WuXian couldn’t say anything.

At least, Lan SiZhui couldn’t hold it in any longer. With a loud scream, he jumped up. One arm wrapped around Wei WuXian and the other around Lan WangJi, hugging them tightly. Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi collided in the embrace. Both were shocked.

Lan SiZhui buried his head between their shoulders, “HanGuang-Jun, Senior Wei, I… I…”

Hearing his muffled voice, Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi exchanged glances, only a few inches apart. They both saw something tender in each other’s eyes.

Wei WuXian straightened his mood and placed his hand on Lan SiZhui’s back, patting, “Enough, what are you crying about?”

Lan SiZhui, “Not crying… It’s just… I suddenly feel very frustrated, but also very happy… I don’t know how to explain it…”

After a moment of silence, Lan WangJi also placed his hand on his back and patted it. Lan WangJi said, “Then there’s no need to explain.”

Wei WuXian, “That’s right.”

Lan SiZhui didn’t say anything. He hugged them even tighter.

Soon, Wei WuXian exclaimed, “Hey, hey, hey, why are your arms so strong? You definitely deserve HanGuang-Jun’s teachings…”

Lan WangJi glanced at him, “You taught him too.”

Wei WuXian, “No wonder he grew up so well.”

Lan SiZhui, “Senior Wei never taught me anything.”

Wei WuXian, “Who says I didn’t? You were too young back then. You forgot everything I taught you.”

Lan SiZhui, “I didn’t forget. Now I remember. I guess you did teach me.”

Wei WuXian, “Benar?”

Lan SiZhui put on a serious face, “You taught me how to disguise pornography as a normal book.”

Wei WuXian, “…

Lan Wangji melirik Wei WuXian.

Lan SiZhui added, “You also taught me that when beautiful girls walk by…”

Wei WuXian, “Nonsense. Why do you only remember these things? You must be dreaming. How could I possibly teach this to a child?”

Lan SiZhui looked up, “Uncle Ning can testify. He should have been present when you taught me these things.”

Wei WuXian, “Testify what? Nothing like that happened.”

Wen Ning, “I… I don’t remember anything…”

Lan SiZhui swore, “HanGuang-Jun, all my words are true.”

Lan WangJi nodded, “I know.”

Wei WuXian raged on the donkey, “Ugh, Lan Zhan!” With another thought, he asked, “By the way, how did you remember, SiZhui?”

Lan SiZhui, “I don’t understand either. There’s something very familiar about Chenqing.”

As I suspected, it was Chenqing. Wei WuXian, “Oh, of course it tastes familiar. You loved eating Chenqing back then. You were always drooling over him, making me lose control of my game.”

Lan SiZhui’s face immediately turned red, “R-Really…”

Wei WuXian, “Yeah, or why do you remember everything as soon as you see her? Do you want to hear more stories from your childhood?” He made two butterflies with his hands, “HanGuang-Jun, do you remember when I treated you to a meal? Back then, she was holding a pair of butterflies and murmuring, ‘I like you,’ ‘I like you too,’…”

Lan SiZhui’s face turned even redder. Wei WuXian added, “Oh yeah, back then you even called HanGuang-Jun ‘Dad’ in front of everyone. Poor HanGuang-Jun. He was such a pure and kind young man back then, but somehow he ended up becoming someone’s father…”

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Lan SiZHui screamed while blushing, “HanGuang-Jun, I’m sorry!”

Lan WangJi looked at Wei WuXian who grinned and shook his head, his eyes gentle.

Wei WuXian spoke again, “Alright, Wen Ning, you know about this?”

Wen Ning nodded. Wei WuXian was surprised, “Then why didn’t you tell me?”

Wen Ning glanced at Lan WangJi, then said carefully, “Young Master Lan didn’t tell you to tell him, so…”

Wei WuXian was furious, “Why do you listen to him so much? You’re the Ghost General—why should the Ghost General be afraid of HanGuang-Jun? Aren’t I ashamed?”

Lan SiZhui still shouted, “HanGuang-Jun, I’m sorry!”

The four of them separated in a forest on the edge of Yunping City.

Wen Ning, “Young Master, we will go this way.”

Wei WuXian, “Which way?”

Wen Ning, “Didn’t you ask what I want to do after everything is over? I’ve already discussed it with A-Yuan. We’ll go to Qishan first to bury our ancestors’ ashes. I also want to look around there for my brother’s belongings, so I can build a memorial for him.”

Wei WuXian, “A memorial. I built one for you and him at Burial Mound, but it burned down. We can go to Qishan too.”

He turned to ask Lan WangJi, but Wen Ning replied, “No need.”

Wei WuXian hesitated, “You won’t go with us?”

Lan SiZhui, “Senior Wei, you should go with HanGuang-Jun.”

Wei WuXian was about to speak again when Wen Ning said again, “Really, it’s okay, Young Master Wei. You’ve done enough.”

After a moment of silence, Wei WuXian asked, “Then what happens after you do these things?”

Wen Ning, “Send A-Yuan back to the Cloud Recesses, then I can take some time to think about my next move. You can let me walk on my own.”

Wei WuXian nodded slowly, “… Me too.”

This was the first time in years that Wen Ning had made a decision on his own and stopped following the same path. Wei WuXian suspected that perhaps there was something he wanted to do of his own free will.

That was what he had always hoped for. Each would walk their own path. However, now that day had finally arrived, watching Wen Ning and Lan SiZhui’s figures slowly walk away, slowly moving away until they finally disappeared, he felt a little sad.

Now only Lan Wangji stood by her side. Fortunately, Lan Wangji was also the only person she wanted by her side.

Wei WuXian, “Lan Zhan.”

Lan WangJi, “Mn.”

Wei WuXian, “You taught him very well.”

Lan WangJi, “There will be many opportunities for you to meet again.”

Wei WuXian, “I know.”

Lan WangJi, “After Wen Ning sends SiZhui back to the Cloud Recesses, he can settle down nearby. You’ll see him often.”

Wei WuXian stared at him, “Lan Zhan, you’re really afraid of me saying ‘thank you,’ huh? I suddenly remembered. Every time we parted ways in my previous life, I’d immediately say ‘thank you’ to you. And every time we parted ways, I’d get worse the next time we met.”

When they killed Wen Chao and Wen Zhu Liu at the courier station, when they met behind the flowers at Yunmeng Tower, when they parted ways at the Yiling Tombs. Each time, he used that word to mark a clear boundary between himself and Lan Wang Ji, widening the gap between them.

After a long silence, Lan WangJi replied, “Between us, there is no need for ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’.”

Wei WuXian grinned, “Alright, then let’s talk about other things, like…”

His voice lowered as he gestured with his hand for Lan WangJi to come closer, as if to whisper something. Lan WangJi approached as expected. However, Wei WuXian reached out his right hand, lifted Lan WangJi’s chin, and leaned down to press his lips to Lan WangJi’s.

After a long time, Wei WuXian finally opened his eyelashes slightly. They brushed against each other, and he whispered, “How is it?”

Lan WangJi, “…”

Wei WuXian, “HanGuang-Jun, give me a reaction, will you?”

Lan WangJi, “…”

Wei WuXian, “You’re so cold. Now, shouldn’t you pin me to the ground…”

Before Wei WuXian could finish his sentence, Lan WangJi wrapped his arms around Wei WuXian’s neck. With a rough movement, he pushed Wei WuXian’s head down, and the two of them kissed again.

Little Apple was stunned. Even her mouth, which was usually chewing an apple, was open. She was frozen like a donkey. Soon, Little Apple couldn’t hold Wei WuXian any longer. Lan WangJi supported her back with his left hand and her knee with his right. He quickly carried Wei WuXian off the donkey.

As he wished, Wei WuXian was pinned to the ground and kissed for a long time. Suddenly, he exclaimed, “Wait, wait!”

Lan Wangji, “Apa?”

Wei WuXian narrowed his eyes, “I suddenly have a feeling…”

The forest, the bushes, the grass, the strong movements, the intertwining of tongues. It felt like deja vu. He thought for a moment. It felt more and more familiar the more he thought about it. He concluded that he had to ask the question, and tried, “The hunt on Phoenix Mountain, when I closed my eyes, Lan Zhan, you…?”

He hadn’t finished asking. Lan WangJi didn’t answer either, but his fingers twitched slightly. As Wei WuXian sensed something odd about his expression, he propped himself up on his elbow and pressed his ear to his chest. As he expected, he heard a thunderous throbbing.

“…” Wei WuXian was surprised, “Oh, it’s really you?!”

Lan WangJi’s Adam’s apple bobbed, “I…”

Wei WuXian was stunned, “Lan Zhan, who knew? You would do something like that?”

Lan WangJi, “…”

Wei WuXian, “You know, I always thought there was a shy girl who did it because she liked me and didn’t dare to say it.”

Lan WangJi, “…”

Wei WuXian, “You’ve been having dirty thoughts about me ever since?”

“…” Lan WangJi’s voice sounded muffled, “At that time, I knew I was wrong. Very wrong.”

Wei WuXian remembered how Lan WangJi had broken a tree in half alone in the forest when he later found him, “Is that why you were so angry?”

Wei WuXian thought he was angry at someone else. He didn’t know that Lan WangJi was angry at himself—angry because he had indulged in his desires, because he couldn’t control himself, because he had exploited others in a way that was not right and not in accordance with the rules of his sect.

Seeing Lan WangJi lower his head, as if he were contemplating his mistakes again, Wei WuXian scratched his chin, “Alright, don’t struggle too much. Well, I’m very happy that you kissed me so early. After all, it was my first kiss. Congratulations, HanGuang-Jun.”

Lan WangJi suddenly looked at him, “First kiss?”

Wei WuXian, “Yes, or what are you thinking?”

Lan WangJi stared at him intently. Something strange glinted in his eyes. He began, “Then…”

Wei WuXian, “Then what? Stopping mid-sentence isn’t your style, Lan Zhan.”

Lan WangJi, “Then, back then, why did you… did you…”

Wei WuXian was confused, “Why what?”

Lan WangJi’s lips moved, “…Why didn’t you fight back?”

Wei WuXian terdiam.

Lan WangJi’s voice became muffled again, “You… clearly didn’t know who it was, so why didn’t you fight back? And after that, why did you tell me…”

Tell him what?

Wei WuXian finally remembered.

Back when he had ‘met’ Lan WangJi, he had proudly shown him off, saying things like he had a lot of experience, like no one would dare to kiss Lan WangJi and Lan WangJi would definitely not kiss anyone else, even things like how he thought Lan WangJi would never give his first kiss to anyone for the rest of his life…

Suddenly he bent down and laughed out loud.

Wei WuXian hit the ground, “Hahahahahahahahahaha…”

Lan WangJi, “…”

Laughing, Wei WuXian hugged him and kissed him, “With all that, you were really angry back then because you thought I was actually kissing someone else, right? Are you an idiot, Lan Zhan?! You actually believed all that nonsense! Only a fool like you would believe me hahahahahahaha…”

Her laughter was too loud, too uncontrollable. Finally, running out of patience, Lan WangJi pushed her to the ground. Leaving Lil’ Apple where she was, the two of them rolled behind a bush.

Not long after the storm had passed, a few drops of water still hung on the grass, wetting Lan WangJi’s white robe. However, Wei WuXian quickly removed it. He sighed, “Don’t move.”

The fresh scent of grass enveloped Wei WuXian’s neck and seeped into his lips, while on Lan WangJi, the scent was the cool scent of sandalwood. Wei WuXian knelt between Lan WangJi’s legs and began kissing downward, starting from his forehead. Between his eyebrows, the tip of his nose, his cheeks, his lips, his chin. His Adam’s apple, his collarbone, the center of his chest.

He kissed the surface of the waterfall and bobbed up and down, looking so solemn.

As he kissed Wei WuXian’s toned stomach and moved down, a few thin strands of hair slipped from his shoulder and teased that dangerous area with his soft, thin breath. Lan WangJi seemed unable to take it anymore. He reached out to grab Wei WuXian’s shoulder, but Wei WuXian grabbed his wrist instead, “Don’t move, I told you. I’ll do it.”

She took off her hair tie to tidy up her slightly disheveled hair before bending down again. Lan WangJi realized what she was trying to do. With a slightly uneasy expression, he lowered his voice, “No.”

Wei WuXian, “Yes.” He gently kissed Lan WangJi.

Making sure not to bite Lan WangJi with his teeth, he carefully wrapped it around his mouth. As he tried to swallow as deeply as possible, he felt a slight strain as the object rubbed against his throat. Lan WangJi immediately noticed his discomfort and reached out to push him away, worried that he was overexerting himself. “Enough.”

Wei WuXian took his hand away and started sucking it slowly.

Lan WangJi, “Kamu…”

Soon he couldn’t say anything anymore.

The pornography Wei WuXian had read since childhood could fill an entire room in the GusuLan Sect’s Library Pavilion. Being quite intelligent, he used his lips and tongue according to what he had seen and learned, diligently nurturing his burning erection. With his most sensitive part held within those warm, moist lips, and being treated so harshly, Lan WangJi felt immense torment just from restraining himself from committing a horrific act of violence.

Wei WuXian felt Lan WangJi’s breathing quicken. The fingers gripping his shoulders tightened. They quickened, and just as his cheeks and neck were starting to ache, he finally felt a warm stream flow down his throat.

The liquid was thick and steaming, filled with a strong musky scent. As it suddenly hit the walls of his throat, Wei WuXian choked and spat it out. Lan WangJi patted his back as he coughed, speaking in a startled tone, “Spit it out, quick. Spit it out.”

Wei WuXian covered his mouth with his hand and shook his head. A moment later, he withdrew his hand and stuck his tongue out at Lan WangJi, revealing the inside of his mouth, “I swallowed it.”

The tip of his tongue was bright red, while his lips were crimson, the corners streaked with white and the traces of a smile. Lan WangJi stared at him blankly, unable to say anything.

He was one of the most disciplined cultivators, but at this moment, his usually cool composure was completely shattered. Even the corners of his eyes and brows were tinged with a soft pink. With the slight touch of color, he looked as if he had been cruelly bullied. Seeing his appearance, Wei WuXian was extremely pleased. With his clothes open to his waist, he put his arm around Lan WangJi’s shoulders, kissing the corner of his lips and his eyelids. “Good boy, don’t be afraid. Next time, when it’s your turn to taste mine, you have to be as good as this, understand?”

His lips were smeared with Lan WangJi’s ejaculate. After the kiss, the fluid also wet the corners of Lan WangJi’s lips. His slightly wistful expression made him look incredibly pitiful. Wei WuXian kissed him again, “Lan Zhan, I love you so much.”

Lan WangJi turned to him slowly.

Wei WuXian didn’t know if it was an illusion or not, but there seemed to be a layer of red in his eyes.

Wei WuXian didn’t notice his forced, almost unbearable gaze. Feeling it wasn’t enough, he added, “Let’s stay like this forever from now on, okay?”

Suddenly, Lan WangJi flipped him over and forced him to fall onto the grass.

Instantly, the two of them switched positions. Feeling Lan WangJi begin to nibble all over him, Wei WuXian pushed his head away with a grin, “There’s no need to rush. I said next time you can…” With a sudden throb from below, he exclaimed with an ‘ah’, frowning slightly, “Lan Zhan, what did you put inside?”

She knew it was someone’s slender finger, only asking out of curiosity. Unconsciously, she squeezed her legs together, but the unfamiliar sensation was even stronger. A second finger entered.

Wei WuXian had seen a fair amount of pornography, but he had never seen anything about homosexuality. He had never felt any interest or curiosity in it, so he naturally thought that was all there was to sexual intercourse between men—kissing, hugging, at most, using hands or lips. As he was pressed to the ground by Lan WangJi, being massaged finger by finger, he finally realized that wasn’t the case. Besides a slight pain, he felt somewhat surprised and perhaps even amused.

But when the third finger was added, Wei WuXian couldn’t laugh anymore.

He was already in enough pain and discomfort, but his three fingers were still several sizes smaller than the ones he was swallowing. He interrupted, “Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan, uh, h-hold on a second. Is it really okay like this? Are you sure you’re not mistaken? Is it here? I think it’s a bit…”

However, Lan WangJi seemed unable to listen to Wei WuXian’s words any longer, and quickly covered Wei WuXian’s mouth with his own. He bent down and pushed in.

Wei WuXian widened his eyes. His legs were raised. The two of them lay facing each other, their hearts and breaths racing.

Lan WangJi’s voice was hoarse, “… Sorry… I couldn’t hold myself back.”

Seeing her red eyes, clearly from holding back, Wei WuXian knew it was all because of his teasing. He gritted his teeth, “Don’t hold back if you can’t… Then what should I do now?”

Just out of desperation, Wei WuXian asked him, of all people, Lan Wangji, “…Just calm down.”

Wei WuXian muttered, “Okay, just relax, just relax…”

He relaxed a little, and Lan WangJi tried to push in even deeper. Suddenly, Wei WuXian couldn’t contain the tension around his hips and abdomen.

Lan WangJi, “… Does it hurt?”

His arms wrapped around her tightly, Wei WuXian couldn’t help but shiver, holding back tears, “Yes, it’s my first time—of course it hurts.”

With this, he felt Lan WangJi grow harder inside his body.

One could only imagine how it would feel to have such a soft and fragile inside invaded by a hard, foreign object. However, as he imagined Lan WangJi’s reaction to those simple words, Wei WuXian burst out laughing again.

As a man, he knew how uncomfortable Lan WangJi was right now, trapped inside yet still holding back his urge to force his way in. Wei WuXian felt his heart soften. He took the initiative to lean forward and whisper into his ear, “Lan Zhan, my good Lan Zhan, Er-gege, I’ll tell you what to do. Kiss me right now. It won’t hurt if you kiss me…”

A bright red color washed over Lan WangJi’s white ears.

He spoke with difficulty, “… S-Stop calling me that.”

Hearing him stutter a little, Wei WuXian burst out laughing, “You don’t like it? Then I’ll call you something else. WangJi-didi*, Zhan-er, HanGuang, which one do you… Ahhhnmff!”

TN: Little brother.

Biting his lip, Lan WangJi sent it all the way in.

Wei WuXian’s sobs were caught in his throat as he gripped Lan WangJi’s shoulders tightly, his brows furrowed, tears welling in his eyes. His legs wrapped around Lan WangJi’s waist stiffly, afraid to move. His mind finally clearing a little, Lan WangJi took a few deep breaths, “I’m sorry.”

Wei WuXian shook his head, forcing a smile, “You said it before. Between you and me, there’s no need for this.”

Carefully, Lan WangJi moved to kiss him, his movements somewhat awkward. Wei WuXian closed his eyes, opening his mouth to let the man in deeper. After a moment of his tongue swirling around, from the faint darkness, he saw the brand mark under Lan WangJi’s collarbone.

He placed his hand there, covering his scar. His smile almost faded, “Lan Zhan, tell me. Does this have something to do with me too?”

After a moment of silence, Lan WangJi replied, “It’s okay. I’m drunk.”

After he brought Wei WuXian back to Burial Mound after the massacre in Nightless City, what awaited him was three years of imprisonment. However, during that time, he heard the news that what goes around comes around, that one’s deeds will be repaid no matter what—that the YiLing Patriarch had finally died, both in body and soul.

His imprisonment wasn’t over when he forced his way out of the Cloud Recesses and headed for Yiling, his body still wounded. He searched for days on the mountaintops. Except for Wen Yuan, whom he had lured out of a half-burned tree hole, still unconscious from a high fever, he couldn’t find anything. Not even a bone, not a shred of flesh, not even a trace of a weak, lost soul.

On the way back to the GusuLan Sect, Lan WangJi bought a jar of ‘Emperor’s Smile’ from Caiyi Town.

The wine was fragrant. And soft. It was definitely not a pungent wine, but his throat felt hot as soon as he took a sip, burning from his eyes to his heart.

He didn’t like the taste, but he felt he understood why the person liked it.

That night was Lan WangJi’s first time drinking, and his first time getting drunk. He had no memory of what he did while drunk. For a long time, everyone in the Lan Sect, both disciples and cultivators, stared at him in disbelief. Some said that night he had broken into the Cloud Recesses’ storeroom, rummaging through the chests looking for who knows what. When Lan XiChen asked, he had said he wanted a flute, his eyes blank.

Lan XiChen gave him the finest flute made of white jade, but he threw it away in anger, saying that it wasn’t what he wanted. He couldn’t find it no matter what, when suddenly, he saw the iron bars that had been sealed after being confiscated from the QishanWen Sect.

After he came to, the same scar as the branding mark Wei WuXian received in the Xuanwu Cave of Slaughter also appeared on his chest.

Lan QiRen looked both annoyed and angry, but he never scolded him.

No matter the criticism or punishment, he felt that it was more than enough.

Sighing, he no longer opposed Lan WangJi’s decision to detain Wen Yuan. Lan WangJi saluted and went to accept his punishment, kneeling silently in the Cloud Recesses for a day and a night.

He drank the wine he drank, suffered the wounds he suffered.

Until now, it has been thirteen years since a scab has grown on this wound.

Lan WangJi began to thrust, while Wei WuXian closed his eyes tightly, gasping for breath to match Lan WangJi’s movements. Just as he was getting used to the incredible object, Wei WuXian moved his hips unconsciously, and suddenly a surge of pleasure flowed from below, spreading throughout his body through his spine.

Wei WuXian quickly discovered how to enjoy this position. He buried his hands in Lan WangJi’s drenched hair, lifting the forehead ribbon with a grin, his voice as soft as velvet, “…Does it feel good? Inside me?”

Lan WangJi bit his lower lip, answering the question with a fiercer thrust.

Wei WuXian was fucked so hard that sweat dripped down his back, glistening from top to bottom. Panting, he babbled, “Lan Zhan… You’re doomed. We’re still missing the only thing left of those three. We’re not even married yet. Doing something like that before marriage—do you know what it’s called? If your uncle found out, he’d definitely drown you in a pigsty*.”

*TN: An ancient Chinese torture method often used to punish people who engage in promiscuous sexual intercourse. The person is placed in a special pig pen and then submerged underwater, either with their head above water to stay alive or completely submerged. Often used as an idiom to warn people against such an act.

Lan WangJi almost glared as he forced out an answer, “…I’ve been like that for a long time.”

What followed was another deep plunge. Wei WuXian threw his head back, enduring both pain and pleasure, exposing his defenseless throat. Lan WangJi bit down.

The almost too-intense pleasure made Wei WuXian’s mind go blank for a moment. Amidst the haze, his first thought was,  …Disbelief. Why didn’t I do this with Lan Zhan when I was fifteen? I’ve really wasted my days, haven’t I?

During such activities, Lan WangJi was clearly the ‘doer’—more action than talk and seduction. After a brief daze, Wei WuXian regained his composure and began to babble the dirtiest things, right beside Lan WangJi’s ear, “Second Young Master Lan, when did you start having feelings for me? If you’ve liked me for so long, why didn’t you take me earlier? The back mountains of your Cloud Recess would be a pretty good location, wouldn’t it? When I sneaked out to play alone, you should have tied me up and dragged me away, pinning me down on the grass like you are now to do whatever you want to me… Ah… Be gentler. This is my first time. Be nicer to me…

“Where was I? Let’s continue. You’re so strong, there’s no way I can fight back. If I scream, you can silence me. Or your Library Pavilion would be a good place, right in the middle of the scriptures scattered all over the ground. We can buy some paperbacks to compare and study, any position… Brother! Brother! Er-gege! Forgive me, forgive me. Alright, alright, I’ll stop talking. You’re too much, you’re too much. I can’t stand it, I really can’t stand it, so don’t…”

Lan WangJi couldn’t resist his teasing at all. With those thrusts, Wei WuXian felt like everything inside him was being stirred up. He pleaded sweetly, but Lan WangJi was even more insistent. After being held for almost an hour without changing position at all, Wei WuXian’s back and buttocks felt numb. Following the numbness came a sharp, itchy pain, as if millions of ants were crawling through his bone marrow.

Now that he had finally tasted the fruit of his seed, Wei WuXian satisfied him with a kiss and babbled without the slightest trace of pride, “Er-gege, do me a favor and give me my last breath. We have plenty of time to spare. Let’s continue next time, let’s continue with you hanging me, okay? Have mercy on this virgin today, okay? HanGuang-Jun is too strong, and the YiLing Patriarch has been utterly defeated. They’ll fight again next time!”

Veins bulged from Lan WangJi’s forehead as he spoke with difficulty, word by word, “… If you really want to stop… then… shut your mouth and stop talking…”

Wei WuXian, “But I have a mouth, and a mouth can only talk! Lan Zhan, when I said I wanted to sleep with you every day, could you pretend not to hear me?”

Lan WangJi, “No.”

Wei WuXian felt his heart break, “How could you do this? You’ve never rejected me before.”

Lan WangJi gave him a faint smile, “No.”

Seeing that smile, Wei WuXian’s eyes lit up again, so happy that he almost forgot where he was. But a second later, Wei WuXian was forced to cry because of the intense movements, in contrast to her smile that was like sunlight on snow. Finally, Lan WangJi concluded with strong determination, “Every day means every day.”
