Chapter 1504

On the following day.

Harvey York received news that Oliver Bauer had been murdered early in the morning.

After calling Yannick Bisson, Harvey then went to the funeral home.

Oliver’s status was too extraordinary. That’s why besides Yannick, Yoel Graham was also there.

Inside the morgue, there was a body as pale as a ghost. It was none other than Oliver himself, but with an additional red dot on his forehead.

Harvey looked at the body and calmly asked, “What happened here?”

Yannick took a deep breath and replied, “After Oliver and company left the parking lot last night, they went to Edward Hospital to have their injuries treated. They then drove towards Buckwood International Airport right after.”

“About twelve miles away from the airport, Oliver asked to open the car window just as they were leaving the urban district. That’s when the targeted bullet went right into his head. It was a one shot kill!

“The shooter is very accurate. No average person could pull off that shot if they hadn’t trained in the military for years.

“We found what appears to be a shooting scene in a residential building near the Buckwood Police Station. From the looks of it, the shooter must have assembled and customized his own firearm. This is not an existing firearm. That is why it is difficult to trace the identity of the shooter in this way.”

Harvey then calmly asked, “Are there any suspects?”

Yannick is a big character, no matter how one looks at it. Even though there wasn’t a Longmen branch in Buckwood, at least a few branch leaders from other districts would call him for more information as soon as possible.

Also, not just Buckwood, Yannick has many friends even across South Light’s social circle. There were several calls for him just for him to hurry up and crack the case.

Even though Yannick was the first in command of the Buckwood Police Station, he was ultimately passive in front of the giants.

“Who’s the biggest suspect here?” Harvey kept asking.

Yannick hesitated for a moment. He didn’t say a word.

Yoel, on the other hand, continued the conversation.

“Kaul”

“People outside don’t know your true identity, but they do know that you had a conflict with Oliver in the parking lot. You have both the motive and the time to do it.”

Harvey then replied coolly, “Too bad I didn’t have to.
I could have ended his life there if I wanted. Why am I looking for so much trouble?”
“That’s right!”

Joel wailed.

“Now Hugh Baker, Tristan Quinlan and the others are accusing you of the murders! They say that you solve your problems once and for all! In their eyes, you’re just a son-in-law and a consultant for the government. They think they got you dead now…

“I asked the Buckwood Police Department to restrict their access to Buckwood. If not, there will be big trouble.”

Harvey then calmly asked, “Am I in trouble?”

“No, I’m afraid I’ll get into trouble because everyone is dying here.”
Joel forced himself to smile.

“Please show me some respect, CEO York. Please leave them alive if some of these oblivious fools decide to come back for revenge. If not, I might not be able to maintain my position!”

Joel felt so helpless.

He wasn’t afraid at all if Harvey was in trouble. But if those people were looking for Harvey to cause more trouble, they would all die at his hands!

How could Yoel tell his superiors about the situation if people were dying like flies there?
