Chapter 1953

Yvonne stepped back while saying worriedly, «CEO, you should get out of here too! This is no mere coincidence. The enemy may have more tricks up his sleeve!”

Harvey nodded in acknowledgement.

“Get out of here first. I will be right behind you!”

Harvey grabbed Macy, picked her up, and backed away.

Macy slowly regained consciousness, but she still didn’t recognize Harvey. He gritted his teeth and kept shouting, “I’ll kill them! I will kill all of you islanders!”

“They killed my whole family!”

“They deserve to die!”

“You can’t do anything about my decision!”

Harvey took another step back and started to scold Macy.
“If you could beat them, you wouldn’t have ended up like this in the first place!”

“And besides, working with the Islanders was never a possibility with them! I don’t know what happened, but judging by the way you look now, you probably deserved to end up the way you did!”

Hearing Harvey’s harsh words, Macy’s body shook. Tears started streaming down her face.

He knew very well that no one else was to be blamed for this incident.
Previously, she was blinded by her admiration for Prince Lucas and tricked into working with the islanders.

Being the prince’s subordinate, he didn’t even bother trying to stop this from happening.

When Harvey saw that Macy was no longer struggling, he quickened his pace.

The second Harvey regrouped with Yvonne and the others after retreating thirty feet, a faint black mist suddenly vibrating violently. It turned a little lighter in color, and began to rapidly surge toward Harvey and the others.

There seemed to be a fishy smell coming from the mist. If anyone inhaled it, they would instantly fall into a trance.
pounding!

Two of Yvonne’s other bodyguards fainted after inhaling a bit of the mist. Their bodies started shaking frantically.

“Do!”

Yvonne ordered, her expression turning icy cold as she watched the two fallen bodyguards. Even if the entire incident turned out to be staged, he knew full well that they would all die where they stood if they did not use their all to dodge this attack.

The four remaining bodyguards, as well as the driver, drew their firearms and started shooting blindly into the fog.

Bullets rained down on the fog, but not a single sound could be heard from behind the fog. It was not what they imagined.

Soon, they ran out of bullets. Either they completely missed, or the bullet landed on a nearby tree or ground. Their efforts were considered in vain.

It seemed that their bullets were also ineffective against such thick fog.

Despite their superiority in manpower, they couldn’t beat their enemy.

“How naive! If guns could kill me…”

“My years of training will be wasted.”

The same oddly accented voice sounded once again.

“Stupid people! You know nothing about the ways of us strong islanders!,

“Kneel!,

“Kneel down and swear allegiance to the Emperor of the Island Nation, and I might let you all live!

Harvey wasn’t daunted by the enemy’s arrogant tone, nor did he care to cheer him up. He narrowed his eyes, trying to see ahead. Unfortunately, he was unable to discern where the enemy was.

“Island Ninjas?”

Harvey frowned. Judging from the enemy’s tactics, he wasn’t a swordsman, onmyoji, conjurer, or anything like that.

There was a high chance that the enemy would be the Island Country Ninjas.

It is said that the Island Nation Ninjas were despicable and despicable in their tactics, using everything in their power to kill their targets and complete their mission.

This poison, hated by the vast majority of people, was one of their more impressive feats.

“Get out of here right now if you have the guts, Islander!”

Yvonne grew increasingly anxious seeing how events were unfolding.
“What kind of hero plays God like this?!”
