Chapter 1963
Robin immediately gave up and started banging his head on the ground.
Longmen and Dragon Cell were the cornerstones of Country H. Although they both came from different systems and were responsible for different things, their statuses were equivalent to one another.
Robin was only the captain of Dragon Cell’s first squad. Even though he was still considered to have quite a high status, he was completely outmatched by Harvey, the new branch leader of the Mordu Longmen branch.
Simply put, if Harvey wanted to end Robin’s life, Dragon Cell wouldn’t just stop him. Hell, they might even be helping him.
“Take them all and break one of their arms.”
“As for this man, cripple him.”
Harvey was emotionless. One wave of his hand was enough to seal the fate of Robin and Robin’s men.
Several Longmen disciples came in and took Robin and his men out in handcuffs.
No one dared to refuse during the process. Soon after, cries of pain rang out from the courtyard.
Harvey crossed his arms and sighed. He turned to Yona.
“I’m really sorry, Ms. Lynch. I only use the villa that Master Lynch gave me like a slaughterhouse. It’s a terrible waste of resources. What a disappointment.”
Vona smiled at Harvey and replied, «You are too modest, Sir York. You’ve integrated the entirety of Mordu Longmen’s branch and become its leader in just a few days after coming to Mordu, ending Mordu’s chaos in the process. Even my godfather said that this is a very big achievement.”
” He owes you a debt of gratitude for this.» Yona isn’t saying this for show.
Mordu is the gateway to Country H from the southeast. For a long time, the foreign powerhouses had planned to attack Country H through here covertly and openly.
The existence of Longmen is one of the cornerstones to prevent that from happening.
The divided Longmen will not be of much use, and may even be manipulated by outsiders.
That’s why Harvey decided to completely rebuild the Mordu Longmen branch. It was a good deed for Harvey, and it was a huge accomplishment in the public eye.
Harvey didn’t think about the matter for too long. “I’m sorry I asked you to come here for such a small matter, Ms. Lynch,” Harvey said, smiling warmly at him.
“I’m afraid there will be a big conflict that will affect public order.”
“Not a big problem. I am glad to be of use to you, Sir York,” said Yona in a calm, sweet tone.
Kait and Yvonne’s eyes changed upon hearing those words. They looked at Yona, their eyes filled with caution and fear.
In an instant, Harvey felt numb. He chuckled and quickly said, “Ms. Lynch, I asked you to come here because I have something else I need help with.”
“I guess the Shindan Way is still continuing with their full-scale invasion of Country H, and they will still start from Mordu.”
“They might even be counting on some big characters to make that happen.”
“Please tell Master Lynch about this, and tell him to be more careful.”
“These Islanders don’t take action if they don’t benefit from it. Of course I’m one of their targets, but Master Lynch probably can’t avoid that situation either.”
Yona’s expression turned stern. He then spoke in a tone only Harvey could hear.
“Thank you for your concern, Sir York. My godfather already knows this.”
“The series of events that happened to him before were also related to the Island Nation.”
“Too many people are eyeing his position as Mordu’s first commander.”
“There are some things he can’t do himself because he will cause unnecessary trouble.”
“That’s why we have to leave the Shindan Way to you, Sir York.”
“Of course, my godfather will still act as your best trump card within Mordu.”
Yona surreptitiously slipped a note in Harvey’s hand.
He turned and left, leaving behind a trail of aromatic scent.
Harvey’s interest was piqued when he saw the contents of the note.
