Chapter 2373

“If you save me, I will tell you everything!”

“I even have proof! I have the sound recording and the check he gave me!”

“I’m telling the truth!”

The woman was so scared, she was willing to give up everything just to survive.

Compared to Matthew’s blind promise, his impending death was real.

“Good. Remember what you said. I’d like to see the proof later. Come with me.”

Harvey dragged Freya and snuck around the run-down building full of luggage, heading to the VIP room.

The hall was completely chaotic. If any conflict were to occur here, the innocents would be dragged to their graves.

The VIP room, on the other hand, must have been empty since the explosion had just occurred there.

Harvey and Freya walked into a room filled with smoke. Other than a few scattered corpses, the place was a mess. It was a terrible sight.

Harvey’s expression turned uglier after seeing the place.

With one swift movement, he picked up several knives on the ground and took Freya to the pantry.

No one was inside, but there were enough lockers and window doors.

Harvey’s eyes lit up as an idea occurred to him. He lifted the locker and smashed it against the window pane, forming a hole in the shattered glass.

Harvey didn’t crawl out of the hole.

Instead, he took Freya and hid in a slightly larger locker.

Bang!

Just as the two were safely hidden, the pantry door was kicked open. Armed foreigners rushed in.

They were retired soldiers, with each of them having a lot of experience in battle.

The first thing they did was shoot everything they saw.

In an instant, the entire room was filled with holes from their ferocious bullets. Even Harvey and Freya’s locker wasn’t spared from their attacks and was full of holes.

Harvey remained calm as he covered Freya’s mouth tightly so she wouldn’t make a sound.

Soon after, more foreign assassins entered the kitchen.

They were carrying firearms as they walked up and down the place, their faces like killers.

Their eyes swept as they searched for their target, but they couldn’t find anything.

A blond man, who was leading the group, shouted into his walkie-talkie, “He probably escaped through the window!”

“Fast! Get some people out and stop him before he can escape!”

The man kicked a nearby locker furiously as he spoke.

The locker fell to the side but didn’t move at all.

The man froze, startled. He was about to say something, but someone jumped out of the locker at that moment and slit his throat with a knife.

Without giving the other strangers a chance to react, Harvey swung his hand and threw the knife he had previously gathered at them.

Soon after, painful wails followed.

Some foreigners had their hands stabbed, while others immediately fell unconscious to the ground with their throats slashed. Those who were lucky to stay alive have collapsed. They covered their wounds, looking miserable. It was a sad sight.

After a while, they came back to their senses.

“Let’s go! Kill him now!” someone shouted angrily.

Bang Bang bang!

The remaining assassins pointed their firearms at Harvey and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
