Chapter 403
“Young Master Leon Silva will be my son-in-law, do you think he will still conspire against his father-in-law?” Simon Zimmer said it right.
“Hey, son-in-law?”
Quinn Zimmer tosses her hair back, her face full of sarcasm.
“My dear uncle, look at your daughter and see if she wants to divorce the son-in-law first! I’m afraid that your dream will soon be crushed, and you won’t be able to accept it!
“You…”
Simon was seething with anger to the point where he couldn’t speak properly.
“Enough! Everyone’s family here, stop fighting!”
Senior Zimmer slammed his hands on the table, his face full of dissatisfaction.
“Making a fuss in the middle of the night, are we not ordering here?!”
“Simon, I’m going to ask you again, is it true that the Silvas want to arrange a marriage with Zimmer?”
Senior Zimmer said while contemplating the situation.
Simon patted his chest and said, “Sure. Of course, it’s real, there’s no way it’s fake!”
“Does the Silva family dictate who gets to marry who?”
Senior Zimmer said.
Simon hesitated a moment.
“No, Young Master Leon Silva said that he was fine with arranging a marriage with Zimmers but he didn’t specify who he wanted to marry. But, I think my daughter…”
“No! Senior Zimmer resolutely said.
“Mandy Zimmer can’t be allowed to divorce Harvey York yet!”
Although Zimmer Senior appreciated the importance of the relationship between Zimmer and Silva, he recalled that the family used
cohabiting sons-in-law to collaborate with the Naiswells on a project. At that point, he hadn’t been able to get Harvey out of the house.
An arrangement between the Silvas and Zimmers has yet to be set, to offend Naiswells that time would be considered unwise.
“There will be opportunities to expel the stay-from-home son-in-law when the arrangements are confirmed.”
Without thinking twice, Senior Zimmer continued to speak, “Since the Silva family didn’t specify who they wish to arrange marriage with, let’s put Quinn in position for now. She is the third person in the family who is not married and the most beautiful and young one!”
“Mandy can’t get married yet and Xynthia is still studying so she isn’t the right fit…”
Quinn Zimmer froze upon hearing this, he didn’t think that free food would fall from the sky on his head.
He was too excited to say a word and kept nodding his head.
“Father, this is not fair! I made this opportunity happen by myself, how could this happen…”
Simon is not happy, but he is once again cut by Senior Zimmer.
“Enough! We are Family! Enough fighting!”
Senior Zimmer showed a frustrated face.
“Even if Mandy can’t get a shit divorce, for now, it’s only a matter of time. When we can make a living in Buckwood and then she divorces the dirt, with her looks and figure, how could she not even find a nice house to marry into? Maybe he can even find his way into the York family somehow…”
“The York family…”
Simon’s eyes lit up. He had heard during his time at Buckwood that the four lords of the Yorks had not married anyone.
‘My daughter is really amazing, maybe she has a chance…”
“Alright, since the arrangements have been set, does anyone have any opinions on the growing family in Buckwood?” Senior Zimmer said and then looked at Zack Zimmer.
A cunning old fox like Senior Zimmer already knew about Zack’s true intention to go against the idea.
Senior Zimmer had nixed Simon’s idea midway, going so far as to change Leon Silva’s marriage partner to someone Zack wasn’t against, Quinn. Senior Zimmer only hinted at Zack, implying that he had nothing to worry about.
His action was to let Zack know that no matter how big a project Simon would take home, it would not affect the legacy of his CEO title.
Seeing his grandfather’s gaze land on himself, he felt incredible. He and Sean Zimmer looked at each other and then chuckled.
‘Simon thinks he can turn over a new leaf by bringing home a big project? He’s delusional!’
‘Did Simon not realize grandpa’s intentions? Looks like he’ll be playing into grandpa’s hands eventually!’
