Millionaire Son In Law Chapter 7383

Hero of heart The amazing son in law complete

Chapter 7383

Identitas Kong Yin tidak sesensitif Sun Zhidong.

Therefore, according to Maria Lin, going to the Golden Pavilion Temple to meet Kong Yin is much easier than going to Eastcliff to meet Sun Zhidong. (For details, see Chapter 2531, updated on December 30, 2022. In the past year or two, several short dramas have filmed plots very similar to Maria Lin’s. I won’t comment on them.)

When Maria Lin suggested that the monk at the door deliver the message, the other party was indeed not as alert and careful as Sun Zhidong’s guards in Eastcliff.

When the other party heard that Maria Lin claimed to be a relative of Master Kongyin and was following the orders of an elder, he instinctively chose to believe Maria Lin’s words.

Japanese Buddhism was introduced from China. Jianzhen brought Chinese Buddhist theories to Japan during his travels eastward, and the Japanese studied them thoroughly. However, after the Meiji Restoration, Japanese Buddhism and the teachings of the monks changed drastically.

Before the Meiji Restoration, Japan strictly followed the monastic teachings of Indian and Chinese Buddhism. Monks were not permitted to eat meat or marry. However, after the Meiji Restoration, Japanese Buddhism gradually became secular, and most monks were permitted to marry and have children.

Based on this general environment, people come to the temple usually to visit relatives, especially to visit their father or grandfather.

Although Master Kongyin never married, he had lived for over 120 years. Who knows if he had any relatives or friends in the mortal world? This seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl, despite wearing a mask, looked beautiful and sweet thanks to her large eyes. Although her two ponytails made her look a bit odd, she gave off a sincere and innocent impression at first glance. I don’t think she would lie in the pure land of Buddhism.

So the monk said, “Please wait a moment, Miss. Our abbot is meeting a guest and has instructed us not to disturb him. I will inform him as soon as he has finished his visit.”

Master Kongyin recently spent three hours each morning discussing Buddhism with Master Jingqing. He also advised them not to disturb them. The monks at the temple strictly adhere to the rules, and no one dared to disturb them at this time.

Maria Lin said, “This is an urgent matter. Please inform Master Kongyin as soon as possible. Master Kongyin certainly won’t blame you if he finds out. But if you delay, Master Kongyin might really blame you.”

“This…” The monk hesitated for a moment, then saw that Maria Lin didn’t seem to be joking at all, so he nodded and said, “Then, wait a moment, Miss. I’ll go and inform them.”

Maria Lin nodded and instructed him, “Teacher, please convey what I just said in full.”

The monk said, “Miss Zhengping is here, right? I understand.”

As he spoke, he was still thinking, Zhengping is clearly a man’s name, could this little girl be Miss Zhengping? It doesn’t match her charming temperament at all.

Maria Lin then warned him, “Also, please tell Mr. Kongyin that he’s old and shouldn’t come pick me up in person. I’ll go in and see him myself.”

The monk became even more confused and thought, “Little girl, even though your family is related to Master Kongyin, Master Kongyin is already over 120 years old, and it is impossible for him to come personally to welcome a little girl like you! You must be dreaming…”

However, despite his surprise, he turned around and left very actively, running towards the main hall of Kenji Zhaol.

Currently, in the main hall.

Venerable Jingqing had just finished reciting the sutra. Venerable Kongyin, dragging his exhausted body along, clapped his hands continuously, sighing, “The subtlety of Buddhism is that each person who reads it will have different insights. The broader the perspective, the broader the world of discovery. I have read this sutra for decades, in Japanese, Chinese, and even Sanskrit, but I have never understood it as deeply as Venerable Jingqing. There are many details I have never understood in my life. Now that Venerable Jingqing has enlightened me, I suddenly feel enlightened. I am truly grateful!”

Venerable Jingqing said humbly, “Venerable Kongyin, studying Buddhism is sometimes related to one’s inner state, sometimes to one’s environment, and sometimes to opportunity. I was able to gain such insights, but not because I understood them deeply. I am very grateful for the opportunities. If Venerable Kongyin could find his own opportunities, he would certainly have deeper insights than I do.”

For lay people, the teachings of the Buddha are holy scriptures, for monks, the teachings of the Buddha are teachings that must be obeyed, and for followers of the Buddha’s teachings, the teachings of the Buddha are guidelines for carrying out practice.

Some things cannot be interpreted unless you reach the appropriate level, such as the intelligence hidden in a newspaper article during wartime. To those who don’t understand it, it’s just an article. Only those who master certain communication codes can discern its essence.

The same thing applies to Buddhism.

After Jing Qing attained enlightenment, he reread the scriptures and naturally gained a deeper understanding. Kong Yin had never attained enlightenment, so even if he read them for his entire life, he would not be able to reach the same level of understanding as Jing Qing.

Master Kongyin couldn’t help but sigh at this point: “Although the word ‘opportunity’ sounds simple, many people find it difficult to find it in their lifetime. Especially a great opportunity like Master Jingqing’s, it’s hard to find one in a million, how could I dare to hope for it.”

Guru Jingqing tercengang.

The description of the opportunity is a very vague concept.

Almost like luck.

However, Master Kongyin’s words seemed to convey a message, namely, he knew very well what his chances were.

In the midst of his shock, he suddenly thought that although Master Kongyin himself had not attained enlightenment, perhaps he had met someone who had.

So, he thought over and over again, then asked, “Master Kongyin seems to know what this poor monk is talking about, what exactly does he mean?”

“Of course.” Kong Yin smiled faintly, waved to the senior disciples around him, and said dully, “You guys go down, I want to talk to Master Jing Qing for a moment.”

Several students immediately put their hands together and said in unison: “Students, obey your orders!”

After saying that, several people stood up together and immediately left the main hall.

In the main hall, only two witches, Kongyin and Jingqing, remained.

Kong Yin then said with a longing expression, “For the first few decades of my life, I was like a demon, desperately pursuing enlightenment. However, I never found the opportunity, and I was never able to open the door to a new world. Over time, I realized that I was destined to never attain that supreme, glorious opportunity in this life.”

After saying this, he smiled and said, “However, I am already very satisfied with my life and dare not ask for another chance. If the Buddha comes to take me to the Western Paradise and asks me if I have any regrets in this life, I will tell him that I should have died as a baby. I am grateful to the world for being able to live until today. I dare not speak of regrets…”

“But I think the Buddha must know that for nearly a hundred years, I have never spoken nonsense, let alone had any wrong thoughts. I have always combined knowledge and action, and have devoted myself to the Buddha’s teachings. So, I hope he will remember my sincerity and allow me to see him again. That way, my life will be complete.”

Jing Qing asked in surprise, “Who is this person that Lord Kongyin is talking about? Is he the same as me?”

Jing Qing’s words were still vague, but he was sure Kong Yin could understand.

Kong Yin of course understood. What came to his mind was a girl who was as loving as a mother, as strict as a teacher, yet as innocent as a young girl. A girl who had never changed since he could remember until she left him.

He knew that Maria Lin would never age, and he also knew that Maria Lin was not someone who had attained enlightenment. So, with a smile that hid the tears in his eyes, he said, “She is different from Teacher Jingqing. She is the best mother, the best teacher, the best playmate, and the best friend. She is… a true living Bodhisattva.”

Jing Qing was confused, but thinking that Master Kongyin was over 120 years old, she subconsciously guessed that he must be missing a long-dead elder, or a nobleman in his life.

In this regard, he was quite envious of Kong Yin.

Because Kongyin is practiced in the more secular Japanese Buddhist community.

Here, he can honestly express what he thinks and feels in his heart, and no one will accuse him of still having attachments to the secular world as a Buddhist.

However, in Chinese Buddhist communities, there seems to be a greater emphasis on breaking free from worldly desires and becoming a monk. Even if someone is unable to break free from their inner bonds, they don’t dare tell others.

So, he smiled and consoled her: “If Master Kongyin praises this person so highly, then I suppose he must have been reborn in the Western Paradise. If you die one day, you will surely meet him again at the Buddha’s place.”

Hearing this, Kong Yin just shook his head and smiled without saying anything else.

The appearance of Maria Lin at that time reappeared in his mind.

He muttered to himself, “How could that young woman be with the Buddha? The Buddha would surely protect her and let her live to be five hundred years old, or even grant her immortality.”

Just then, someone outside the door suddenly shouted, “Bastard! The abbot is arguing with Master Jingqing, and you, a novice monk, aren’t guarding the gate properly, instead running in here without permission?!”

Then, someone said, “Brother Yuancheng, I am here to inform the abbot that there is a relative’s child outside who wants to see him!”

The man had just scolded, “Bastard, you believe everything other people say. This kind of talk is clearly a big lie, and you still take it seriously! Go and kick that brat out!”

After saying this, the man was about to chase the little monk away.

The young monk didn’t dare to force his way in, so he could only shout loudly towards the main hall: “Abbot! The little girl outside the door said that Miss Zhengping is here! It’s Miss Zhengping!”

The argument between the two men, as well as the monk’s shouts, were all spoken in Japanese.

Teacher Jingqing only knew a little Japanese, so he couldn’t understand what was being argued about outside.

Initially, Master Kongyin didn’t mind the argument outside. He had been communicating with Jingqing all morning and was already exhausted, so he thought it was time to rest and continue his journey in the afternoon.

However, when he suddenly heard the words “Miss Zhengping is here”, his body shivered as if he had been electrocuted, his pupils shrank sharply, and his entire body trembled with excitement.

At that moment, he had forgotten his fatigue. He immediately stood up from the mattress and staggered out the door.

However, after sitting cross-legged for a long time and due to his advanced age, his legs felt too weak when he stood, and he nearly fell. Seeing this, Master Jingqing, who was standing in front of him, immediately stood up and supported him. Then he asked anxiously, “Master Kongyin, is something wrong? Why are you so panicked?”

Kong Yin felt like his legs were completely out of control, as if they were broken at the hips, but he was overjoyed at the moment and just wanted to crawl out the door as fast as possible, even if he had to crawl.

Because he knew that in this world, except for Maria Lin, everyone else who could pronounce the name Zhengping to him had been buried!

Maria Lin, who was so kind to him, must be at the gates of Kinkakuji Temple right now!

So, he said to Jingqing while shedding tears: “Master Jingqing, please take me to the temple gate, okay!”
