Radio Tension and America’s Final Warning
Meanwhile in Antarctica, Wu Bolin’s group is getting closer to McMurdo Station.
However, there is something strange.
Kohei Kikuchi looked confused and anxious. It had been over half an hour since he sent the distress signal “SOS,” but there had been no response from the American station.
“This is absolutely outrageous!” Kikuchi complained, hitting the steering wheel.
“How is that possible? We said we needed emergency help, but they just kept quiet! Where is their humanity?”
Wu Bolin, who was sitting quietly next to him, opened his eyes.

“What would happen if we just barged in there?” he asked flatly.
Kikuchi shook his head quickly.
“We don’t have any insiders, Master. Breaking in without permission would be suicide. Their radar has been locked on to our position for a while now.”
He explained the risks, “If we force our way in, they’ll report it to the military. The nearest air base can send fighter jets in two hours. We don’t have any heavy weapons. Our chances are zero.”
Wu Bolin smiled faintly, full of confidence.
“They’re just a bunch of scientists, right? I can handle them alone.”
Strong Warning Via Radio
Before Kikuchi could answer, the snowmobile’s radio on the dashboard hissed loudly. The American officer’s voice sounded tense and warning.
“On behalf of the United States government, I demand that you stop immediately! No further approach to McMurdo Station is permitted!”
Kikuchi immediately grabbed the radio microphone with emotion.
“You idiot! We came to ask for help! The US and Japan are allies! We’re just having technical problems and need logistics; what’s wrong with helping our fellow human beings here?”
On the other end, the American communications officer broke out in a cold sweat.
To them, Kikuchi’s voice wasn’t the voice of a comrade in need. It was the voice of an enemy.
Pentagon intelligence had already warned: This Japanese group was a crazed traitor. Anyone who dared betray their own country en masse was a dangerous psychopath.
And now, the psychopaths were moving straight towards the gates of McMurdo Station.
Clearly, they did not come with good intentions.
