Darryl who arrived at Donghai City headed to the Oriental Pearl.
Darryl had called Chester a moment ago and they had agreed to meet at the Oriental Pearl before heading to the New World.
Darryl furrowed his brows as he had just stepped out from the cab in front of the Oriental Pearl.
He sensed some anger from not far away and He looked around before seeing Abbess Mother Serendipity leading a few female disciples coming from not far away. All of them looked angry.
“Darryl! ”
Abbess Mother Serendipity quickly walked closer. “I ’m asking you, where’s Megan?”
Megan?
Darryl was stunned and replied, “I no longer have any connection with Megan. How will I know where she is?”
Darryl had never had a good impression of Abbess Mother Serendipity and was even more annoyed seeing her attitude.
Abbess Mother Serendipity was furious as she pointed at Darryl and scolded, “Stop pretending, Darryl. I sent Megan yesterday night to return the armor to you and she hasn’t returned till now. Tell me what did you do to her?”
Abbess Mother Serendipity’s eyes showed worry apart from rage as she spoke.
Megan was her favorite disciple.
The few female disciples behind her also came forward once she had spoken.
“Speak, where’s Sister Megan?”
“You must’ve captured Sister Megan.”
All of them had concluded that it must be Darryl who had captured Megan.
Regardless, Megan had killed Chester’s wife and since both of them were godbrothers Darryl was definitely the main suspect for Megan’s disappearance.
However, they did not know that Megan felt horrible from the rejection yesterday night when she returned the armor to Darryl and begged for his forgiveness.
She shut off her phone, sat by the shore, and was enjoying the sea breeze.
Darryl laughed. “Abbess Mother Serendipity, did you forget to take your medicine when you leave home today? You lost a disciple and came looking for me to find her? What type of ideas are you having? I have no time to waste with you as I have something important to do. Get out of my way! ”
Darryl then pushed the two Emei Sect disciples and walked away.
“Darryl, stand there!”
Just as he took two steps away, he heard Abbess Mother Serendipity shouting behind him.
The next second, Abbess Mother Serendipity turned her body and charged towards Darry. “Don’t even think of leaving if you don’t hand Megan over today.”
