Darryl did not reject him when he saw Andy’s sincerity; he accepted the rescue signal.
Then Andy said, “Please don’t leave now; stay for dinner. Please, stay.”
“Darry, why don’t we stay? We can leave after dinner,” Debra said softly.
She went to the Elixir Sect to seek clarification from Elder Jupiter, but she realized that it was all a misunderstanding. It would not be nice to reject their invitation to dinner.
“Very well.” Darryl nodded.
It was night, and the atmosphere in Elixir Sect’s grand hall was happy and merry.
There were so many delicious dishes on the dining table.
Andy was thrilled; he continued to serve wine to Darryl and Debra.
His wife’s sickness was cured, and the misunderstandings were cleared, so Andy felt relieved.
Naturally, Darryl drank only with Debra.
Even though Debra was the Artemis Sect’s Sect Master, she did not have a high tolerance for alcohol. She was already drunk after only two drinks. Her face was flushed, and she looked even more attractive.
After three rounds of drinks.
Andy smiled at Debra and said, “The New World suffered an earthquake a day ago. Have you heard about the Grand Weapon that they recovered?”
Andy continued to say, “I was informed that the boundaries between the nine mainlands have disappeared. We can now communicate with each other among the nine mainlands. The future is so uncertain; hence, our sects must keep in touch regularly, so we can help each other if there are any problems.”
Debra nodded.
Suddenly, Darryl stood up.
What?
The boundaries within the nine mainlands had disappeared?
Darryl’s body shook; he was so excited. He could not hide his emotion when he said, “Sect Master Gable, Sect Master Curtis, I have some very important matters to attend to, so please excuse me. II Once he had spoken, he took Jewel’s hand and prepared to leave.
Darryl had tried to come up with ways to get back to the New World. Since boundaries within the nine mainlands had disappeared, nothing could stop him anymore. That was the greatest news in the world!
What?
What was the rush?
